This book covers the Aberdeen city areas of Fountainhall, Mannofield, Broomhill, Hazelhead, Ruthrieston and of course Rubislaw which had several granite quarries, the industry featuring on several pages. Then front cover photo shows WW2 bomb damage but most of the photos in the book are more restful and show these districts of the Granite City at work and play.
