Cover : paperback
Price : £35.00

FSF stands for Flat floor, Short wheelbase with a Front entrance. Bristol FSFs were built by Bristol Commercial Vehicles at their Bristol factory between 1960 and 1963. Readers of a certain age will recall that at this time most buses had the “entrance” at the back – most buses didn’t have doors! The FSF did. Passengers' first experience of this new bus type was generally heading for the rear and then looking perplexed when they couldn’t see how to board it. Despite this start (oh what fun we had in the 1960s) the FSF became a British bus staple, operating across England, Scotland and Wales until the early 1980s. Full colour throughout, this book is a celebration of the Bristol FSF with a large collection of photos of the FSF in different locations at different times. The book concludes with fleet lists. 152 pages. 250 illustrations.
